Top news: e-Learning and Workplace safety training

On December 21, 2011 the Italian State and Regions Conference updated the legislation on workplace safety training, officially allowing the possibility of “using e-learning tools as means of training” to meet the mandatory requirements in this field. STAR-T’s e-Learning platforms are fully compliant with the quality standards and specifications mentioned in Annex 1 of the new agreement.

It is now possible to obtain the formal recognition of distance learning for the following courses:

Basics of workplace safety ( mandatory for all new employees)
Training for managers
Training for people in charge of safety
Continuing education

Video recording

STAR-T now offers a new video recording service allowing anyone to video record learning units directly from his/her computer.

Fast and effective!

Any teacher or expert will be easily able to video record his/her lesson and match it, for example, to a Powerpoint presentation. No specific software needs to be downloaded.

The final result is a video lesson to be integrated into an e-learning course and completed with comprehension and evaluation tests or other learning materials. Il will also be possible to insert the video recordings in other websites.

Our staff will remotely assist you during the recording and will check the final quality of the video.

Partnership with European Learning Centre

STAR-T is now partner of the European Learning Centre (ELC), a network devoted to the promotion of e-learning in Europe and in the Mediterranean countries.

The European Learning Centre has now an office in Tunisia located at the prestigious University ENISO (Ecole Nationale d’Ingénieurs de Sousse).

STAR-T at MoodleMoot 2012, Livorno

STAR-T paticipated to the 2012 Edition of MoodleMoot Italia, the yearly meeting of the Italian Moodle Community. The event took place in October 2012 at the prestigious Accademia Navale di Livorno. The Italian Navy is increasingly using e-larning and Moodle for the continuous training of its Officials.

Among the special guests of this edition, we would like to mention the following keynote speakers:
